Welcome to my website, “In My Garden Grows.” This site is a place were I want to share my love of herbs, wild crafting and natural health. I’ve been working with herbs making tinctures, infusions and decoctions for about 5 years now. I’ve recently graduated from Dominion Herbal College’s Chartered Herbalist program and am looking forward to continuing my herbal education.
Often times we are walking over or killing many healing plants because they are commonly known as weeds. Plantain for insect stings and bites, Ragwort leaves used as a poultice is wonderful for arthritic joints and most people are amazed when they find out that Dandelion is very healing to the Liver and aides in weight loss.
Now, there is nothing more relaxing and interesting for me than spending some time in the dirt out in my garden or in the bush; wild crafting these so-called weeds. Soil is where the life of the herb begins—the table is were it ends. The Lord has blessed us with his beautiful creation: all we need has been given to us.
